About Us

Our mission is to support and enable families and individuals to be connected, where neighbours come together to create a safer, stronger and active community which increases wellbeing and minimises crime.

The Netley Marsh South Neighbourhood Watch Scheme was created around 1995 to meet and support neighbours in the local area. The group is run by a volunteer Coordinator and dedicated committee volunteers with the goal of making their community a better and safer place to live.

People join the Netley Marsh South Neighbourhood Watch group for many different reasons, whether it is to improve safety around their home or to become part of a group, meet new people and support neighbours in our local area.

We encourage engagement with our neighbours (community events, website and social media), we try to identify those that are vulnerable and isolated and reach out to them, to deliver a social community we can all be proud of.

We believe the sole purpose of our organisation is the safety of our community and is the main reason people join our movement to report suspicious behaviour, crimes and scams.

We are a not-for-profit organisation. We have the support of the local police force. Neighbourhood Watch groups are supported on a national level by the Neighbourhood Watch Network.
